M. Brent Munroe

Suddenly on January 2, 2004, with his wife Emerald by his side.

Maurice Brent Munroe age 55 was taken from us too soon and too quickly.

Born in Huntsville January 30, 1948, Brent was a well-known athlete, particularly at Lacrosse where he excelled. He worked as a Radio Announcer and from there went on to join the Ontario Provincial Police, stationed in Tillsonburg, Red Lake and Parry Sound.

For the past several years Brent was involved in the Log Industry and will be greatly missed across Ontario for his expertise in Log Home Restoration.

Brent is survived by and will be eternally missed by his wife Emerald Chamberlain, his children; Ron, Jennifer and her husband Ian Mitchell, Leslie and her husband Dave Hansen. His stepchildren Jeff Schnurr and his wife Chantal of Concord, Elizabeth Martin and her husband David of Waterloo.

Loving Bump to his grandchildren; Bailey, Keegan, Taryn and Erika, Justin, Emily, Grace and Aislin.

Also grieving the loss; his mother Beryl Munroe, brother Ron his wife Mary of Huntsville, sister Judy of Geneva, Switzerland. Brent wil be forever missed by his life long friends Eric Ruby and Roy Macgregor. All of us will treasure the memories.

He touched family, friends and clients with his stories, his love of people, his passion for wood and log homes and his appreciation for this great province, he traveled far and he always kept in touch.

So when a soft breeze touches your face, or a high wind rustles through the pines, know that it is him, passing through, on his way somewhere, saying hello.
